The Daphne Tree is an indie band that plans to travel to college towns in Missouri and Illinois and expand to other college towns. Each instrumentalist has artistic freedom through collaboration. Each person in the band is very important to the function of the band. You are able to contact anyone in the band via email. We have a wish to know what you think of the music, as we welcome fans. Daphne Drohobyczer is also an enthusiastic oil painter and writer in addition to vocals for The Daphne Tree. The oil paintings you see displayed here convey nature and judaism, in the spirit of the daphne tree. Look out for new artwork, as well as new songs. Singer/Songwriter, Daphne Drohobyczer, hails from St. Louis, and attended Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School (MICDS) and Washington University in St. Louis. At Wash U, she majored in English Literature, and did her Master's Degree in History from University of Missouri-St. Louis. She's an artist and a life long learner. She writes and oil paints, and takes classes at St. Louis Community College in her spare time. She has published a book on Kindle, that is free on Kindle Prime, called "Office Hours."
